Countries should work to build better AI education: AI expert

China is in a better position than the US in AI education and different countries should work together in this segment to bring shared benefits, according to top industry players.
"China is in a better position than the US to study and improve the technology for AI education, in terms of the volume of data and the existing regulations to be able to use that data," said Tom Mitchell, a renowned machine learning expert from the US.
He noted that AI technology is a strong force and will create new wealth everywhere. China, the US and Europe all will benefit greatly, he added.
To this end, Mitchell called for global collaboration to co-develop AI education.
"The faster we can build better education, the faster we can benefit the whole world."
Mitchell made the remarks at an AI education summit by Chinese education company Squirrel AI Learning, also known as Yixue Education, where he was brought on board as Chief AI Officer.
