Boao Forum members sign agreements with Optics Valley
The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Members Symposium for Cooperation in Wuhan was held in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei province, on June 29.
More than 80 representatives from member companies all over the world attended the event, signing 29 cooperation agreements worth 231.31 billion yuan ($34.73 billion) with Wuhan companies and instututions, 10 of which were worth over 10 billion yuan.
Representatives from Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China) also attended the event and signed four agreements, covering areas such as big data and artificial intelligence.
Among them, Hengxin Shambala will invest in the zone to build a dream world project, involving a magic show field, a digital experience hall and an animation industry operations center.
After the symposium, over 30 representatives from BFA member companies visited Optics Valley Exhibition Center, to learn about the development of the zone over the past 30 years.
