More efforts are needed to boost the development of the real economy, as China shifts from pursuing high-speed expansion to focusing on high-quality growth, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference spokesman said Friday.
Wang Guoqing, spokesman for the first session of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC, said the country will also beef up resources to guard against all kinds of risks and deepen the supply-side reform.
"China's economic growth in the new era will be of higher quality, more efficient and more sustainable," Wang said at a news conference.
