Former senior publicity official expelled from CPC, public office

BEIJING - Lu Wei, former deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and former head of the Cyberspace Administration of China, has been expelled from the Party and dismissed from public office for multiple offenses including taking bribes, the top anti-graft body said Tuesday.
