The 2017 China Smart Display Innovation Conference was held at Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China), central China’s Hubei province, on Dec 14.
Jointly hosted by the zone and China Video Industry Association (CVIA), the conference focused on reform and upgrading of China’s display industry.
More than 400 senior executives, representatives and experts from the country’s display industry attended the event.
At the conference, agreements for eight key projects worth 13 billion yuan ($1.97 billion) were signed, including a China’s video industry development fund, an intellectual property alliance of intelligent terminals, and a big data service center for the display industry.
The big data service center for the display industry will focus on monitoring the key nodes in industrial development, providing data analysis and visualization services for the industry.
The intellectual property alliance of intelligent terminals will work to improve the conversion rate of patents in China's flat panel display industry, and protect the results of independent research and development.
In addition, a white paper for the development of China’s display industry was issued at the conference. A summit forum on smart display innovation was also held.
