The Beijing Paralympic Mascot(s) is (are) to be launched on the occasion of
the two-year countdown to the 2008 Paralympic Games.
From Sept. 4 to Oct. 15, BOCOG, along with Beijing 2008 Partner China Mobile,
will organize a six-week contest on the knowledge of the Beijing Paralympics in
an effort to promote the awareness of and public participation in the Paralympic
Movement.
Local residents can participate by sending short text messages and may win
souvenirs made of Paralympic Mascot(s). They may also dial toll-free hotline
